After the cast was taken off, their Doctor recommended a routine of daily walking as part of the healing and recovery process for their leg.

My mother’s friend began their early morning walks at the mall, 5 days a week, following their Doctor’s advice.  It was beneficial for their leg, plus they had an incredible side affect, they experienced weight loss of 60 pounds within 6 months!

My mother is 77 years young and walks two miles a day anywhere from 3-4 days a week, depending on her schedule.    I walk in my own neighborhood.  I also see people walking in the immediate vicinity for a stroll as well, taking advantage of these ancient health tips.
