Choose Your Own Change
Choose your own change and examine the place for you to emerge. Make your own cat food? Make your own shoes? That would be a leap of change out of the plateau of everyday living. Think, if you had to do these things.
If I threw these two things into your life right now as a demand on your everyday existence, the dice of change will re-arrange everything for you.
The doors that you didn’t think existed will open. Just because you are called to build your own shoes and make your cat its food? Think about it. Your priorities would rearrange themselves rather quickly to choose your own change.
The word change has been over used and bantered around since the last election cycle. In 2008 it was the promise of change and in 2009 it is the question of where is the change that was promised? Your involvement determines how your choose your own change, whether you see it or not.
Your life operates on how you choose your own change. Choose your own change and organize yourself for what do you want to change. Is it getting the laundry done on time? Losing weight? A better marriage? A divorce? Cleaning out a closet? A new job? Taking control of your finances? A new attitude? Eating healthier? Get up on time? The list is endless.
Initiate change at some level of your life. The proverbial snowball gains momentum and rolling stones gather no moss when you do. You know what needs to change…start the change. Do it mindfully, with thought, kindness and consideration. World events will always be. Change will always be–an inside job.
You matter, Chad.
