Healthy Living: What Does It Mean To You
What does healthy living mean to you? The last few weeks I have been writing about what you can do for your health through the process of everyday living. This last week I have written on matters of self development, self esteem, self improvement and self help.
It’s funny, our grandparents never gave any thought to any of this, they just got up, lived their life, raised families, made long lasting friendships and went on with the world. They died and a lot of people attended their funerals because they made a difference.
A wonderful, older friend of mine, who has since passed on, gave the best advice I can think of for healthy living: Get on with it!
Healthy living is a combination of different things. It all starts in our mind and where we proceed from there, with the choices, decisions and distinctions we make everyday.
So you if gave in and had fast food for lunch, it doesn’t mean you can’t have an apple in the afternoon, go to the gym or have a light, healthy dinner. You said a harsh word to someone, go back and apologize. Your frame of mind was for crap all day, you can still change it with the next thought.
My goal over the next few weeks is to continue to write about healthy living–and there is so much. So much in my head to share with you. Albeit plastic bottle water usage, staying regular, exercise, thinking, connecting, things you can do before you even leave the house, that will make a powerful difference for you. Whatever I can do to help, from me to you is the whole point.
Have a great weekend!
You matter, Chad.
