Healthy Living: So How Is Your Exercise Going? 2

Ok, it’s Thursday. What have we  done this week in putting a goal of healthy living into action through exercise? Besides searching for the remote control or throwing a load of laundry in.

Yeah, I missed the gym yesterday. How does that happen? I was up at 4:30am and didn’t go to sleep until around 10:30 last night.

Take it a day at a time. I mentioned yesterday about getting a pedometer for how many steps you take everyday. For those of you on you’re feet all day, it is quite possible that you already have a built in exercise routine for healthy living.

I was in the world of retail for well over 20 years and was on my feet walking about 75% of the time. I remember one recent December where my lunch consisted of going down to the food court everyday. It was 10 minutes down and 10 minutes back, plus being on my feet in the store. What a way to lose weight, I lost 10 pounds.

I made it to the gym for a total of three times that month. After the Christmas rush I met a friend for lunch, who I hadn’t seen in a few months and they commented on how fit I looked. Hallelujah!

I bring this up because so many times a solution, in this instance-exercise, can be in front of our face. Put your mind to work and think of the infinite possibilities and ways there are around, besides, and in front of you to make a positive change for healthy living. Thanks.

You matter,Chad
