Life Awards Us By What We Put Into It

Yes,life awards us! What we put into life is in direct proportion to what we will get out of life. How will your life read?

I should have worked harder,been tougher,yelled more,absorbed more stress, and gotten all those errands and projects completed on time–are not the first things that roll off of people’s tongues as they lay on their death beds.

People,the joys,losses,regrets and memories of those people, are on the lips of those ready to move on from this plane of existence. Life awards us on how much we share our care and the love we give to one another.

A great person has said “to the very least of my brothers…”. “When I was hungry you fed me,when I was thirsty you gave me drink.”

Remember as we march into a new week it is about life which is about people. The greater gift life awards to us, is through the beneficence of giving our presence-You.

It’s about how you treat and respect yourself. No matter how crappy you feel and how bad your day,week or month is going–You matter! I want you to remember this.

I may not know you,at least not yet, and as Wilma Stephenson said this morning while watching her on early morning CBS, “you’re Number One!”. You are,you count and I can’t say it enough to you.

Everybody you meet is number one! Get That! Leave a carbon footprint!

Let your footprint be this–your life was well lived and you shared your life with other people. This is what life awards us–greater than any golden statue sitting on a mantle piece somewhere.
