Where Are We Going To–The Gym?
Yep,it’s Friday morning and where are we going tonight after work? For many of you today is TGIF! (And many of us not). Your cherished 2 -day respite will soon begin.
You also have 24 hours and counting,before Saturday am to to get off your duff, to get your body,and endorphins moving,unless you choose this evening(More power to you!).
So where are we going regarding our New Year’s Resolution of us getting back to the gym,going to the gym,or joining a gym?
I am reminding you and YOU know who you ARE! About the promise we all made to one another,that even if we didn’t know where we are going ,one of the places we knew for sure was the gym!
We are among the countless humans who made the commitment to get (back) into a committed,consistent routine a few short weeks ago. Of oh… so recent memory–remember?? The gym is where we are going!
The evidence and ‘defense’ for exercise is overwhelming. How many more times do you (we) need to read about it,hear about it,or see it. In a book,a mag,on the net,the tube,@ social media,a billboard,driving by a gym or seeing someone walking down the street-they know where we are going.
They have a vision of health and are putting it into action! Because they are DOING it!
I see people everyday from all walks of life,’old’ and young alike that are exuberant and healthy. The common denominator is their ability (because of their commitment) to stay active and get regular exercise.
Seth Godin does a phenomenal job writing about the ‘resistance’ and every time I read it,the bells & whistles go off in my heart. So let’s quit thinking about where we are going and get out of our head and DO IT!
The mental benefits and endorphin expansion equal the physical well being.
Where are we going? You’re going to the gym,so get MOVING!
