Where Are We Going To–The Gym,Remember!
Saturday’s here and where we are going is the gym! We made the commitment to do the gym thing. If we haven’t been all week,once,or just a couple of times,today is the Day!
When we don’t feel like going,we need to get GOING and get DOING! Trust me,I can’t tell you how many times I have been ‘kicking and screaming’ all the way to the gym. I’ve mentioned this before,the hardest part is walking out the front door and putting the key in the ignition.
I usually swim. For me it isn’t the laps,it’s putting on my goggles and getting in the pool. After that,I know it’s a done deal.
The pressure and stress of daily living can be tremendous. Married,single,divorced,young and old. Everyone has problems,challenges and seemingly insurmountable issues.
Where we are going to,will be paved in due part by our/your constant, consistent physical movement of getting out and going to the gym–believe it!
For those of us who have fallen away and have now gotten back into a regular routine at the gym,you know the incredible benefits of just getting out of the house,let alone the life-saving power of exercise! It’s also a nice way to meet and connect with people while burning calories.
If you haven’t joined a gym and made the commitment to do so at New Year’s,well DO it! Getting into a regular routine will do wonders and I can’t describe it right now (that will be a separate post).
However,things will be put into greater perspective,you’ll feel better about your self,and changes will happen that you cannot even for see presently. Seriously…just by going to the gym on a regular basis.
The axiom of “Move it or lose”,holds true in a variety of powerful ways.
Where are we going, is about joining others who are committed seriously to their health in heart,mind and body!
