Our attitude is everything and it is our attitude that got us to the gym on a Monday. I went to the gym last night around 7:30 and completed swimming my laps.

I’m one of those crazy ones,I sit in the ‘hot jacuzzi’ and then go swimming. For me it works,the temperature difference gives me a boost when I hit the water,to immediately get into the beat of those first laps.

It is the perseverance of our attitude that will take us from work,running errands,push us out the front door,and get us out of our comfort zone to go to the gym. Our attitude is everything approach to life,is more than our individual disposition and how we think,say and do things.

There is great evidence on the incredible boost,growth and power of exercise on our endorphins,brain and overall mindset. I personally think of exercise as my very own endorphin expansion and attitude adjustment. No doubt having a attitude is everything attitude,requires a constant workout at being consciously competent.

Enough said. I don’t want you to believe me. I want you to put your exercising your attitude into practice,literally! Meaning the physical movement of your body through exercise. Here is your project…call me your virtual Coach.

You said,we said,we would get back to the gym. Tell me,let me know in your comments,how you feel,even after that first day or night. Let me know,how will you feel by Sunday night,how will you feel at the end of a full week?

If you are eating half-right,drinking plenty of water and pooping regularly (ick…I know,nobody likes to talk about! How would you like to talk about colon cancer instead?), you will also see slight or greater,changes in your physique.

I will leave you with this from Seth Godin’s book ‘Tribes’/p.101/paragraph 4:  “Life’s too short” is repeated often enough to be a cliche’,but this time it’s true. You don’t have enough time to be both unhappy and mediocre. It’s not just pointless,it’s painful. Instead of wondering when your next vacation is,maybe you ought to set up a life you don’t need to escape from.”

Trust me on this one,going to the gym consistently and exercising will embolden your life in untold ways. And the only pain there is,is your stubbornness not to do it!

So DO IT,TODAY! Give your attitude is everything the workout it deserves. You’re worth it,you’re Life’s greatest gift!
