Xoçai
The name Xoçai™ (Sho-sái) is derived from the ancient Central American word for cacao products “ Xoçolatl ” and the main fruit ingredient of the product… Acai berries, from the Acai Palm found in the Amazonr Rain Forest.
The Xoçai Chocolate products are produced with non-alkalized, non-lecithinized cacao pepper, antioxidants, combined with Acai berries and blueberries.
It is made with a cold process, in contrast to the heat processes of other chocolates, which helps to preserve the antioxidants and make Xoçai a “healthy” chocolate.
Health Benefits, according to claims made by Xoçai producers and distributors, Xoçai chocolate can lower cholesterol, fight cavities, boost energy, protect against stroke and improve libido. It is, however, the antioxidants in Xoçai that provide the most benefit.
Antioxidants called flavanoids are naturally present in dark chocolate. Raw cocoa, a major ingredient, also contains powerful antioxidants. The makers have also cut out all waxes, refined sugars and bad fats. According to Dr. Richard Cutler, former Director of the Anti-Aging Research department in Washington, D.C., “The amount of antioxidants you maintain in your body is directly proportional to how long and healthy you will live.”
